National Honor Society



The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization for high school students.  Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service , and character. The organization was established to recognize outstanding high school students in these areas.  

The purpose of this club is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to promote worth leadership, to encourage the development of character, and service. Members will participate in peer tutoring, fundraising endeavors, charitable contributions, and multiple community service projects. To be a part of this society, you must have at least one semester at West Essex and be a member of the junior or senior class. You must also have a GPA of 3.75 or better. Eligibility is based upon character, leadership, and service.
