Fresh Perspectives, an esteemed juried exhibition showcasing the creativity of New Jersey high school students, marks its 35th year of inspiring artistic expression. Initially launched in 1989 at the Morris Museum, the exhibition continues to highlight exceptional works across various mediums, including photography, drawing, painting, digital art, and sculpture. This year, Fresh Perspectives 2024 adopts a hybrid format, featuring a virtual online gallery displaying 50 selected entries alongside curated physical displays in the museum's galleries from March 15 through May 26, 2024. Notable among the selected entries is "Esa Mirada" by Alejandra Munoz, a senior at West Essex High School. Munoz's piece offers a poignant reflection on the power of observation and perception, standing out as a testament to her talent and vision.
