On Friday, June 5, West Essex proudly hosted its annual Move-Up Day, giving students and staff a preview of the upcoming school year. The event provides students with the opportunity to meet their future teachers, learn about next year’s expectations, and feel confident as they transition to a new grade level.
A special highlight of the day was welcoming our incoming 7th-grade students from Essex Fells, Fairfield, North Caldwell, and Roseland. For many, it was their first opportunity to experience life at West Essex Middle School, tour the building, and meet future teachers and classmates.
We extend our sincere thanks to our dedicated Guidance Department and school staff for their hard work in preparing schedules and ensuring the day ran smoothly. Their efforts helped make this annual tradition a positive and successful experience for all students.
