Young Entrepreneurs Shine at West Essex Middle School TREP$ Fair

West Essex Middle School held its annual TREP$ Fair on April 23, transforming the WEMS cafeteria into a vibrant marketplace filled with creativity and entrepreneurship.

The event showcased student-created products and businesses developed through the school’s TREP$ Club, an after-school program that teaches students in grades 7-8 the fundamentals of starting and running a business. Throughout the program, students learned key skills such as product development, marketing, budgeting, and salesmanship before bringing their ideas to life at the annual fair.

Families, friends, and community members were invited to shop the student-run businesses and support the young entrepreneurs. The marketplace featured a variety of creative products that highlighted the students’ hard work, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit.
