Over 100 Students Inducted into National Junior Honor Society

On Tuesday, May 12, more than 100 outstanding students from West Essex Middle School were officially inducted into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). Membership in this prestigious organization is reserved for students who demonstrate excellence in the five pillars of NJHS: scholarship, leadership, character, citizenship, and service.

The induction ceremony celebrated the hard work, dedication, and positive contributions of each student. Family members, faculty, and administrators gathered to recognize the inductees and their commitment to academic achievement and service to others.

NJHS advisor Mrs. Kathleen Morrissey congratulated the students on reaching this important milestone and encouraged them to continue serving as leaders and role models within the school community. Principal Alicia Angione also addressed the inductees, commending their accomplishments and the qualities that earned them this distinguished honor.

Congratulations to all of the newest members of the National Junior Honor Society on this impressive achievement! The West Essex community looks forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make both inside and outside the classroom.
