On April 15, West Essex celebrated its annual Academic Induction Day, a beloved tradition dedicated to honoring our students. The day featured 11 different honor society inductions, recognizing students who have gone above and beyond in academics, community service, leadership, citizenship, and more.
The societies include:
- National Art Honor Society
- National English Honor Society
- National Math Honor Society (Mu Alpha Theta)
- National Science Honor Society
- National Social Studies Honor Society (Rho Kappa)
- Theater Honor Society (International Thespian Society)
- Tri-M Music Honor Society
- World Language Honor Societies (Chinese, French, Italian, Spanish)
The night before, West Essex also inducted students into the National Honor Society, a nationwide organization that recognizes excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
