WE Field Hockey Teams Win Championships, Rank Among Best in the Nation

West Essex Middle and High School Field Hockey Teams have both had tremendous success this fall, earning top accolades and recognition, and we couldn’t be prouder.
At the Middle School, the Field Hockey team won their 12th championship in a row, after emerging victorious from this year's tournament finals 3-2. This victory came after an impressive 13-0 season where the WEMS Knights outscored their opponents 89- 4. The team is led by captains Abby Agostini, Lola Rosciani, Quinn Rosciano, and Caitlin Breslin, and Coached by Jarrod Cappello, Hannah Bollinger, and Gabriela Panzarino.
At the High School, the Field Hockey team is now ranked as the #4 best team in the country, and #1 in NJ - the highest nationally they have ever been ranked in their 57 year history. Additionally, the team emerged victorious from the County Championship game 3-2 over Montclair. Check out some pictures from the game.
