Welcome to the West Essex Board of Education!
The Board of Education of West Essex Regional School District in the County of Essex exists for the purpose of providing a thorough and efficient system of free public education in grades seven through twelve in the West Essex Regional School District.
The West Essex Regional School District is comprised of all the area within the municipal boundaries of Essex Fells, Fairfield, North Caldwell and Roseland. The Board consists of nine elected members representing the four municipalities, with the number of seats assigned to each municipality based on its population: one from Essex Fells, three from Fairfield, three from North Caldwell, and two from Roseland.
The West Essex Regional School District Board of Education has achieved Carole E. Larsen Master Board Certification status.
