We're Going to the Regionals!

2017HistoryBeeRegional

Congratulations to our seven 8th Graders, Sam Goldstein, Blaise Abate, Emma Tartini, Lea Bachenheimer, Christopher Rysz, Gabriel Ruszala and Philip Seaver on making it to the National History Bee Regionals in April.  National History Bee is an academic competition for middle school students that test their knowledge on a wide range of historical topics.  To be accepted into Regionals, they had to pass the Regional Qualifying Exam that was held in January.  Those that passed the 70+ questions, then proceed to the Regional Finals. The Regional Finals will consist of three preliminary rounds of head-to-head buzzer competition, followed by a final championship round.

The top finishers then are eligible to advance to the National Championships in June and then compete for the title of National History Bee Champion.

West Essex wishes them ALL good luck!!!
