David Montgomery



Mr. Montgomery is married with three children and resides in Roseland. He received his BA in Political Science from Ursinus College in 1974 and began his teaching career at West Essex in the fall of that same year. All of Mr. Montgomery's 27 years in the teaching profession have been spent at West Essex. During this time, he has been a teacher of United States history and a multitude of elective courses offered by the Social Studies curriculum. Throughout his tenure at West Essex, he has also served the district as a coach. He began his coaching career as an assistant coach in football and spring track and at various times throughout has been a head coach in cross county, winter and spring track. In 1989, Mr. Montgomery received his Masters in Supervision and Administration from William Paterson University. His hope is to end his career at the place where it began.
