Teaching Instructional Supervisor for Science and Environmental Safety
Ryan Gupta taught Mathematics and Physics for 7 years in Miami, Florida. He earned a B.S. in Physics Education and an M.S. in Science Education from Florida International University. In 2004, Mr. Gupta relocated to New Jersey with his wife and 3 kids. He taught Advanced Physics at Bergen County Academies and the Academies @ Englewood. In 2006, Mr. Gupta joined West Essex as a teacher of CP, Honors, and AP Physics. He also coached the 7th & 8th grade boys basketball teams and served as advisor for the Science Olympiad Physics team. Mr. Gupta also presents workshops to other Physics teachers at Rutgers University. In 2008, Ryan Gupta was promoted to Instructional Supervisor of Science.
Outside of West Essex, Mr. Gupta enjoys attending church, spending time with his family, playing sports, and cheering on his favorite teams – the Dallas Cowboys and New York Mets.
