The goal of the Mathematics Program at West Essex Regional School District is to afford all students a solid foundation in mathematics for the rest of their academic and professional life. The West Essex teaching staff aims for our students to achieve their maximum mathematical potential each and every year.
Student placement in a 7th grade course is carefully determined based on criteria including, but not limited to, standardized tests and a performance test administered by West Essex in the Spring of the students’ 6th grade.
