If a student is not planning to attend West Essex Middle School in September because they are moving or attending private school, please see Mrs. DiChiara in the guidance office to pick up a final withdrawal form. Thank you!
 

The We Help Character Education Club is sponsoring their 5th annual Cans for Cancer drive on Sunday, May 20 from 12-5 PM.  Help us to raise money for the Valerie Center at Beth Israel Hospital for kids with cancer.  Collect your aluminum cans at home and ask your parents to bring them to the school bus parking lot between 12-5 on Sunday May 20.  Hope to see you there!

The Student Council will be hosting a Spring Spirit Week.

  Friday IS West Essex Gear Day!

 

Attention all 8th grade students, your end of year dance “A Knight to Remember” is fast approaching. The dance will take place on Monday, June 11th from 7:00-9:00 in the cafeteria. All students planning to attend MUST purchase a ticket in advance. Information and required permissions slips are available in the main office as well as on the school’s website. Completed forms and money must be submitted to the main office by Wednesday, May 23.

  

The West Essex Dance Team will hold auditions for next year’s High School Dance Team on May 30th and May 31st from 6-8pm at the High School. Both days are mandatory. Please wear dance clothes and proper footwear. Jazz shoes are preferred.

 

The deadline for KNIGHTLIGHTS poster contest is Friday. Also, the deadline to submit original works of literature (poetry, songs, stories) is also Friday. Please submit your entries to Mr. Massa. KNIGHTLIGHTS will be published in June.
